How to convert kelvin to celsius

°C = K − 273.15

Temperature scales have different zero points, so converting needs an offset as well as a scale factor. 300 K becomes 26.85 °C. A handy check: −40 is the same in Celsius and Fahrenheit, and body temperature is about 37 °C or 98.6 °F.
